Founded by Ilenya Smedile — vocal coach, performer and singer-songwriter
Milano Music Lab & Records was founded in 2014 by Ilenya Smedile, performer, singer-songwriter and vocal coach. It grew from her own journey with music: a voice hidden for years, finally set free.
What she teaches, she has lived on stage.
What she shares, she still lives every day.
Her career spans concerts, recording projects, musical theatre and events in Italy and abroad. Today, that experience shapes the Milano Music Lab & Records method: practical training rooted in real work, artistic growth and personal attention.
Every student follows a personal path, whether for passion or to turn music or theatre into a profession.

A vocal method blending artistic experience and teaching
Every course is shaped around you, your goals and where you’re starting from. Whether you want to pursue a passion or turn it into a profession, you’re in the right place.
Visit the school, meet your teacher and try the course.
No commitment, no pressure.
Then you decide.
Ilenya is the vocal coach everyone would love to work with. She brings out your strengths and helps them grow. She gives so much to her students and, through the concerts she organises every year, gives them the chance to perform on stage in front of a real audience.
I’ve been studying here for a few years and it’s a wonderful place. The songwriting course is really engaging — even the shyest students start writing and sharing songs. And it’s more than a music school: you can also produce your own original music.
Ilenya is an exceptional vocal coach and a wonderful singer-songwriter. Skilled and professional, but above all able to turn her students’ ideas into something special. There is always something new to inspire you, from live shows to original music.
